Village Garden Waste Skips

Village garden waste skips are provided in certain villages by Eden Recycling a private contractor not employed by us.

What can I put in the garden waste skip?

You can put leaves, grass, twigs, clippings, roots, shoots and weeds into the skips.

What happens to the garden waste I put into the skip?

The collected material is composted in an on-farm composting scheme at Ivegill and at Eden's Recycling premises in Kirkby Stephen.
