Garden Waste

Garden waste makes good compost, on average garden waste accounts for approximately 21% of household rubbish. Home composting is a great way to reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill. So to make sure your garden waste is used for compost you can:

• try home composting
• have it collected in the garden waste collection scheme
  (you have to live in an area where the scheme is available)
• put it in your village garden waste skip
• take it to household waste recycling centre
