Household Waste Recycling Centres

Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC) are where you can take household waste to either be recycled or disposed of. The HWRC's in Eden are at Flusco and Kirkby Stephen, they are operated by Shanks Waste Management Limited on behalf of Cumbria County Council.

Household Waste Recycling Centre Permit

You will need a permit if you intend to go to a HWRC in a van or twin-axle trailer. To get a permit telephone the Permit Helpline on 0845 055 1118.
