Recycling Information

Glass bottles and jars can be recycled by placing them into your green box as part of the kerbside Bag and Box Scheme. You can also take them to the glass banks located atRecycle Points within the District.

Before recycling please rinse out bottles and jars and remove tops or corks. You don't need to remove labels - they are burnt off in the furnace.

You cannot recycle plate glass, light bulbs, milk bottles, Pyrex or ceramics.
