Impact Furniture Services, Penrith will accept and collect, free of charge, fridges and freezers that are in working order.

Alternatively take your old fridge or freezer, to a Household Waste Recycling Centres at Flusco and Kirkby Stephen.

You can also donate items to local people by visiting www.penrithedenfreegle.org.uk and posting details of your unwanted item.

Fridges or freezers that are not working can be collected, for a charge, by the electric appliance collection.

All old fridges and freezers collected have the CFC's gases which damage the ozone layer, these must be removed before they can be recycled.
