There are recycling banks for beverage cartons, often known as Tetrapaks, at B&Q and Morrisons in Penrith, Flusco Household Waste Recycling Centre and at Brough, Plumpton, Greystoke and Stainton village hall recycle points.

The banks can accept all types of cartons such as milk cartons, juice cartons, soup cartons, those used for custards and sauces etc.

Please rinse and drain after use and flatten the cartons by 'pulling out the ears'. 

Please cut off any plastic openings to flat pack the cartons before placing in the banks. Please see 'Plastics' of where you can recycle the plastic openings.
