An Environmental Health Officer is available 24
hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to serious events like;
fatalities, events that pose an imminent risks to health or acute
pollution incidents.
Although the majority of calls are generally
satisfied through advice or referral to an appropriate service, the
duty officer is always available to visit and will authorise any
necessary enforcement action.
