Through its sponsorship and funding of the
East Cumbria Countryside
Project, Eden District Council supports a wide range of
countryside management activity. The Project's annual programme of
activity typically includes footpath and bridleway improvement, the
creation of circular walks, guided walk programmes, the production
of high quality interpretative material; arts initiatives and
advice to landowners of the planting and management of
woodland.
