We have two Community Wardens who work closely within the community to improve the quality of the environment and promote respect for Eden's heritage. They respond to reports of environmental crimes made by residents, organisations, Councillors and visitors to the District and also undertake routine patrols of problem locations.
The wardens also have enforcement powers which allow them to issue warnings, fixed penalty notices and even gather evidence to start court proceedings. They can give advice on the following:
