Communities Portfolio Agenda: 31 May 2012

A meeting is to be held with Officers at 4pm, on Thursday, 31 May 2012, in the Executive’s Office, Town Hall, Penrith to consider the following matters:

1. Declarations of Interest

To receive declarations of the existence and nature of any personal interests and/or personal interests which are prejudicial in any matter to be considered during the meeting.

2. Ainstable Play Area, Management Agreement

To consider report CD44/12 of the Communities Director (PDF: 198 Kb / 4 pages) which advises the Portfolio Holder of a request from the Millennium Green Trust (Ainstable Parish Council) to enter in to a Management Agreement with the Council to inspect and maintain the existing children's play area.

Recommendation that:

A Management Agreement be agreed in principle with the Millennium Green Trust (Ainstable Parish Council) for the management of the existing children’s play area subject to a risk assessment and condition survey being undertaken on the existing equipment to ensure that play area meets industry standards.
