Purpose of Report: The Portfolio Holder is asked to consider an application for financial assistance from Stainton Cricket Club and to approve the Annual Grant list as detailed within report CD69/12 of the Communities Director.
Decision:

RESOLVED that:

  1. Stainton Cricket Club be awarded a grant of £500 towards the installation of practice net facilities, subject to all partnership funding being secured prior to the commencement of works; and
  2. The Annual Grant list as set out below be approved.

Reasons for Decision The application received from the Stainton Cricket Club was recommended for support as it was considered that the project meets the objectives of the Leisure Grant fund. The support is subject to the club ensuring that all other partnership funding is secured prior to works commencing.

The Annual Grant list is recommended for support as the Council has historically supported these organisations and they meet the objectives of the Leisure service.
