Reasons for Decision It is important that equality and diversity implications are taken into consideration in everything that the Council undertakes. By continuing the work that the EWG does, and by continuing to support the Eden Access for All Forum, equality will remain in the foreground of members and officers minds. The Council also needs to ensure that it is compliant with legislation, particularly as changes in the law happen, and that Eden District Council continues to provide a fair and equitable service for everyone within Eden.
