It is agreed that the Council fund an emergency heating grant for vulnerable residents from the end of November until the new financial year with an initial figure of £5,000 to be taken from the existing energy efficiency budget.  There will be a maximum contribution from the Council of £1,500 per application.  The budget will be reviewed depending on future weather conditions and demand.  It was further agreed that the approvals within the fund would be delegated to the Director of Technical Services or Head of Environmental Services.
