Decision Reference Number Res_27_4_10
Subject Matter: Introduction of DIP and Workflow: Revenues and Benefits
Date Decision Made 20 April 2010
Portfolio: Resources
Decision made by: Councillor Gordon Nicolson
Interests Declared: None
Decision: Northgate’s Information@Work DIP and Workflow system is adopted for the Revenues and Benefits Section
Relevant Overview and Scrutiny Committee: Performance
Reports and Background Papers Considered Report F32/10
Reasons for Decision Following an approach to Northgate, they are prepared to extend their Information@Work system at South Lakeland DC to Eden. The costs can be met from existing budgets. This is a cost-effective way of accessing DIP and Workflow, which is widely seen as a key tool in improving performance in revenues and benefits. If the Council decides to proceed with a shared service with SLDC, it will need to have the same DIP and Workflow system.
Summary of Options Rejected: Not adopting DIP and Workflow
