Reasons for Decision Procurement accounts for a large proportion of the Council’s expenditure. It is important that there is a member approved strategy to ensure that the Council secures value for money in its procurement. The strategy should also be updated on a regular basis. 
Summary of Options Rejected: None- it is accepted good practice to have an up to date procurement strategy.
