Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Human Resources and Appeals Sub-Committee will be held at 3pm on 7 April 2010, Committee Room, Town Hall, Penrith.

1.      Election of Chairman

To receive declarations of the existence and nature of any personal interests and/or personal interests which are prejudicial in any matter to be considered during the meeting.

To receive declarations of the existence and nature of any party whip.

3.      Exclusion of Press and Public

To consider whether, in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, members of the public (including the press) should be excluded from the meeting during discussion of the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 and 2of Part 1 to Schedule 12A of the Act.
