Total funding of £8,500 for the minor works is approved from the remaining capital works budget for the football ground relocation.

Reasons for Decision The provision of traffic control will protect the Council’s asset and help to minimise the ongoing costs of site maintenance.

The provision of additional drainage will minimise areas of standing water on the pitch and preserve the grass surfaces in an area required for routine maintenance access.

The provision of solar powered lighting at the site entrance will assist with securing the site effectively and protecting the Council’s assets out of operational hours.
