11.    Slippage of Specific Revenue Items

Recommendation from Resources Committee on 3 April 2008 that:

  1. The budgets set out in section 4 to the report be carried forward from 2007-8 to 2008-9 and that a supplementary estimate of �193,835 is recommended to fund this, it being noted that this is funded by a corresponding underspend in 2007-8;
  2. The second homes' monies set out in section 4 of the report are funded in 2008-9.

12.    Proposed Designation of Great Salkeld Conservation Area

Recommendation from Environment Committee on 20 March 2008 that:

  1. Council be recommended that the area of the village of Great Salkeld as defined on the map that was previously circulated (including the proposed extension) be designated as a conservation area under Section 69 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990; and
  2. The necessary notification of the designation be undertaken in accordance with the requirements of the Act.
