Have your Say - Your Voice Counts

We want to make sure everyone in the area is given an equal voice to have a say in what affects the district. Take part and work with us, so that what we do reflects your needs and opinions and retains your support.

You say, we listen ...

Ask a question: The public is entitled to ask questions at council meetings. If you cannot attend the meeting you can send in a question and it will get raised at the appropriate time.

Suggest a topic for Scrutiny: The Scrutiny Committee is seeking topics for next year's Work Programme

Consultation feedback: We asked, you said, we listened. Our responses to various consultations and other participation exercises conducted by the council. Where possible, we will indicate what has happened as a result of public input.

Complain about something we did or didn't do: Even the best services can go wrong and we want to know if you think we have got it wrong.

Complain about a Councillor: District Councillors and Parish Councillors are bound by a Code of Conduct. If you think this code has been breached please report it to us.

We ask, you say ...
