You are welcome to attend some Council or committee meeting to find out how decisions are made. For legal reasons however, you may be asked to leave before some items on agendas are discussed. These items are always indicated on the agenda as items where the press and public are excluded. Leader meetings and portfolio meetings are not open to the public but we publish those agendas and decisions taken in the same way we do for other committee meetings.
