We maintain twelve closed churchyards through out the District, that are no longer used for burial. The Council will take over the maintenance of closed churchyards at the request of the Parish Council, in cases where the Parochial Church Council does not wish to continue its maintenance responsibility in accordance with the statutory procedure.
