A Green Eden Project

A Green Eden is a new project based exclusively in East Cumbria which will support businesses in and around the Eden Valley to develop a wide-ranging programme of low impact, responsible tourism activity.

The project will aim to:

  • Support tourism businesses in the Eden Valley to help improve their environmental practices

  • Facilitate the creation of low impact holidays, based around Eden's unique attributes

  • Develop the infrastructure of the area to encourage low impact activities such as walking and cycling

  • Promote the new range of offers under one co-ordinated marketing campaign: ‘A Green Eden’

To find out how you can get involved with this exciting new project, contact Anna Waddilove - Project Development Manager on 01539 822890 or visit the Nurture Lakeland website.
