Markets
The towns in Eden with the exception of Alston all have weekly markets. Throughout the district monthly Farmers markets are held. See markets for details of market days and locations.
Shops to Lease and Rent
Due to the current recession there are a number of empty shop properties in Eden. Specialist Shops
There are a number of Specialist Shops in Eden offering a range or goods. Each year a leaflet is produced that lists the specialist shops in Penrith. The Penrith Specialists Shops Guide is available from the Penrith Tourist Information Centre.
Sunday Trading
Sunday Trading is allowed although large shops have their hours limited to six continual hours, between 10am and 6pm. Small shops have no restrictions. For more information see Sunday Trading.
