Penrith Branding
Some of the new branding is in use at Booths and the New Squares development the inspiration for this concept came from the medieval seal of Penrith.
Signs and Street Furniture Contract
A design company called 'The Knack' from Kendal have been appointed to install a range of new signage and street furniture around the town. The Knack are preparing detailed designs for each of the sites and arranging for ground inspections so that when installed the signs and furniture can be positioned correctly in each location. This part of the project will be completed and signs installed by the end of October 2012.
VoP has been fortunate to secure future funding from Cumbria County Council and this has enabled them to begin looking at the phrase 2 of the project. Phase 2 will see signage being extended through out the town centre and to the town boundaries. Negoiations between the partners in VoP have begun to decide how and when phase 2 will be implemented.
